New guitarist joins the band

We have some good news. We finally found a new guitarist to join Distained and his name is Tatu Suomalainen. You will get more info about the dude later. At this point we just focus on rehearsing together.

Now that Distained is complete again we can get the wheels back rolling as soon as possible. So stay alert and wait for more news about gigs, studio sessions etc.

We would also like to thank all of you who showed interest and contacted us about the open post for guitarist. Thank you and keep rockin'!

We have the tendency to bring a camera everywhere we go and film all our adventures. We thought we'd share some of our moments with you! First up is some video material from the Mindframe photoshoot, where we put on our best hangover face and try to look representable. More videos are coming so be sure to check back here every now and then!

Petteri has left the building (an open letter)

Sadly we have to inform you once again about a change in our line-up. Our rhythm guitarist Jani Petteri Holttinen is no more in the band (his Argentinean husband was too much for us!) No but seriously, quitting the band was his personal decision and we have to respect his choice.

Now we have to go on without him and we are already looking for someone to replace him on the rhythm guitar. So available and talented guitarist candidates can contact us by e-mail through distained(at)distained.com or through the contact for on the website. And you should do it as soon as possible if you think you are the right person for Distained!

Distained has wrapped it up for this year!
We would like to thank all our fans, friends, enemies, and anyone who has supported us during this fantastic year! A new line-up, a record recorded, plenty of gigs played.

It has been awesome and Distained is gonna make 2010 even better! Have some good holidays, and we will see you on the other side of the calendar.

How come we are so silent? Because we are busy being creative of course!
While we are actively gigging through Finland, we also have been working on a lot of new material!
Have a sneak preview of some of our new songs, which we have recorded in our crappy home studios.(So don't expect spectacular quality!)
