Studio Diary: Day 1Distained enters studio

Distained starts the recordings of its first promo-cd with this new line-up. The band will enter the Matrixtor Studios in Hämeenlinna on Wednesday 25th of March. The recording sessions will last three days and if everything goes as planned we have recorded three new songs by the end of the week.
The three songs we are going to record presents new and diverse sides of our music. Songs are heavier but still more melodic and more emotional than before. We will keep you posted on our progression (and aggression) in the studio by posting a studio diary on this site.
New band members

We are very excited and happy to announce our new line-up. Like we said earlier there are two new members in the band. Distained's vocalist is now Niklas Sluyter and our new rhythm guitarist is Jani Holttinen.
You can find more information about these guys in the band section. Our website has also gone through some updates as you probably noticed. So take your time and browse through our renewed site and leave a comment in our guestbook and tell us what you think of the site or the changes in the band.
Remember to visit this page regularly because we will record some new material during this spring and this will be the first place where you can hear it!
